Promotion of Sports
Top partner of Mito HollyHock

Since 2001, we have been the top partner of Mito HollyHock, a football team belonging to the J2 League. We also co-sponsor the K’s Denki Kids Passport, which entitles children of elementary school age and younger living in Ibaraki Prefecture to watch the team’s home games throughout a year, free of charge. This contributes to supporting sports promotion for local children.
Platinum sponsor of Ibaraki Robots

Since 2019, we have been a bronze sponsor of the professional basketball team Ibaraki Robots, which plays in the professional basketball B League. Basketball has been growing in popularity with the FIBA World Cup, so by supporting Ibaraki Robots which aims to enter the B. League Premier in 2026, we hope that our sponsorship will help to promote the public recognition of the whole league and contribute to the local community.

Naming rights of
K’s Denki Stadium Mito

In 2009, K’s Denki acquired the naming rights of Mito City Stadium. The stadium is now called K’s Denki Stadium Mito, which is host to various sports such as football, rugby, and track and field. By supporting sports promotion, we hope to contribute to the sound development of young people.

Activities to support reconstruction after the Great East Japan Earthquake

We donated 1,500 electric fans to people living in temporary houses and damaged houses.

In order to provide support for customers who are unable to shop as they live in areas far from home appliance/electronics retailers, we carried out sale using a mobile selling truck in Rikuzentakata City and Minamisanriku-cho.

We donated a complete set of necessary home appliance/electronic to Tenohira ni Taiyo no Ie, an eco-friendly residential complex that supports children affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

2012 - 2014
As a part of our reconstruction support activities for those affected by the earthquake, we provided a consultation service for problems associated with consumer electronics at temporary houses in various regions. From 2012 to 2014, we held 66 consultation sessions (for 9,824 households), offering advice to those affected by the earthquake on the use of home appliance/electronic, and carrying out inspections, cleaning, and repairs of malfunctioning appliances at stores and by our employees acting as volunteers.

Marking 10 years since the occurrence of the earthquake, we donated a total of 150 million yen (50 million yen for each prefecture) to Iwate Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, and Fukushima Prefecture.

Donation to Japanese Red Cross Society
We have been making annual contributions to the Ibaraki Branch of the Japanese Red Cross Society since 2018. The donations are used to improve nurseries and provide disaster-relief vehicles, disaster-relief materials, etc.

We also make contributions to the Japanese Red Cross Society from a portion of the sales of the K’s Denki’s original dry-cell batteries (made by Maxell, Ltd.) and LED light bulbs (made by Asahi Electric Co., Ltd.) sold by the Company. (Donations from the sale of dry-cell batteries commenced in June 2021, and those from LED light bulbs commenced in September 2021.)

Support for local childrearing and elderly people
We participate in support systems that entitle pregnant women and households with children to receive preferential services, such as Ibaraki Kids Club in Ibaraki Prefecture, Guchoki Passport in Gunma Prefecture, Tochigi Egao Tsugitsugi Card in Tochigi Prefecture, and Papa and Mama Support Shop Courtesy Card in Saitama Prefecture. We also participate in a system that offers preferential service plans to elderly people, such as Ibaraki Senior Card in Ibaraki Prefecture.

Cooperation in blood donation
We cooperate in blood donation activities by regularly informing employees of the venues for blood donation and encouraging them to participate.
