K’S HOLDINGS CORPORATION and K’s Denki Group companies (collectively, the “K’s Denki Group”) observe laws and regulations regarding the handling of personal information as well as guidelines and other norms thereof set out by the Japanese government, and strive to properly handle and control the safety of personal information acquired from customers.

1. Purpose of use of personal information

The K’s Denki Group does not use personal information acquired from customers outside the scope for achieving purposes of use to which the customers have agreed.

  1. Responding to inquiries, comments, requests, requests for consultation, and the like
  2. Improving the efficiency of IR activities

2. Prohibition of providing personal information to third parties

The K’s Denki Group does not provide any customer’s personal information to third parties without the customer’s consent, except in the following cases.

  1. When required by laws or regulations
  2. When required to protect human life, limb, or property, and obtaining the customer’s consent is difficult
  3. When specifically required to improve public hygiene or promote the healthy development of children, and obtaining the customer’s consent is difficult
  4. When required to cooperate with a national government agency, local public organization, or delegated entity thereof to execute duties set out in laws or regulations, and obtaining the customer’s consent would hinder said execution

3. Outsourcing the handling of personal information

The K’s Denki Group may outsource the handling of personal information to a third party within the scope required to achieve the purposes of use.

4. Joint use of personal information

The K’s Denki Group uses personal information jointly within the Group to achieve the purposes of use.

    Names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, purchase history, delivery and installation history, repair history, details of inquiries

    Obtained directly from customers via stores and business locations of joint users, the internet, etc.

5. Requests for personal information disclosure, etc.

When the Company receives a request for disclosure, etc. (e.g., notification of purposes of use; disclosure or disclosure of records provided to third parties; correction, addition, or deletion of details; cessation of use or provision) of personal data it holds, it promptly responds after confirming the customer’s identity according to the prescribed procedure.
